Taunton School Sports Club
Taunton School Sports Club is delighted to present “Win a Wedding” couple Hollie Myles and Chris Waddingham a year’s family membership to the Sports Club. They will benefit from accessing a number of the sporting facilities available at Taunton School. Hollie and Chris recently visited Rachel at Sweet Art World. All wedding cakes are designed from scratch from the Brides ideas and it is Rachel’s job at Sweet Art to turn these ideas into reality.
“The consultation starts with discussing the portions needed as this determines the size of the cake, then we look at magazine clippings, swatches and doodles supplied by the Bride. There is also of course, the chance to taste... There is always Chocolate Fudge Cake on hand, by far the number one choice of cake for modern brides. Fruit cake is still popular for the traditionalists and we have had a large number of requests for lemon cake this year“

Crystal Vision
Jo Stanhope-White (Owner)
Filming is like telling a story and throughout my life in media this has always been my driving passion. My whole career of 25 years has been involved in filming and post production which has taken me around the world (23 Countries), both filming on land and also underwater.
My other passion of sailing made me take a sabbatical crewing a yacht from the UK to the Mediterranean and back, taking in all the countries in between, including North Africa.
On returning from my travels I decided to do what I know and love best, by setting up my own Production Companies, one for Social filming production (Crystal Vision) and the other for Corporate (Sapphire Vision). The great advantage of setting up the companies means that I have been able to equip myself with the latest Broadcast HD cameras and state of the art Non-Linear Editing System. I also have the benefit of a fellow professional of many years experience in film production working with me.
As a former student of Taunton School myself, it seemed appropriate to accept the offer to sponsor this ‘Win Your Wedding’ competition. We are looking forward to joining Hollie and Chris on their Wedding Day to capture all of those special moments on film. Their Wedding will be one of the most memorable days of their life’s and a film of their Wedding Day will allow them, their family and friends to look back on the people, the music, the voices, the emotions all in living colour and sound, a visual memory to cherish always.

Registry Office
Somerset Register Office is conveniently situated in the centre of Taunton at The Old Municipal Buildings, Corporation Street. The staff there are happy to help with any of your ceremony enquiries. After the legal preliminaries have been completed, the staff will help couples to personalize their own ceremony by writing their own vows, and adding readings and music, which must be non religious. If however a couple prefer a shorter ceremony then this is also available.
The current cost for a Marriage or Civil Partnership in the Register Office is £110.50 in total, and the ceremony room has capacity for 15 people. There are two additional licensed rooms for Marriages and Civil Partnerships in the Old Municipal Buildings with capacities for 40 or 100 guests. Eternity and Welcome Ceremonies can also be arranged.

Peter J Nicholls
Peter J. Nicholls Photography is a family business based in Bridgwater. Peter opened his Bridgwater studio after completing his photographic training in 1977. In 1979 Peter qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography and is also a member of the Master Photographers Association.
